Hamilton artists Christina Sealey and Richard Oddie have been producing and
performing electronic music together for over fifteen years. Under the name
Orphx, they merge electro-acoustic music with the pulse and throb of techno,
dub and electro. They have garnered an international reputation, releasing
numerous recordings and performed throughout Europe and North America.
This evening’s performance is based on Sealey’s and Oddie’s current AGH
exhibition *Living Spaces: Imagining Hamilton*; the artists use location
recordings from different regions of Hamilton to create rhythmic soundscapes
that highlight particular aspects of the city.

On the first Wednesday of each month, this intimate lecture series focuses on selected works from the AGH Permanent Collection or exhibitions currently on view and features AGH curators and guest speakers.

Wednesday, March 4: Contemporary Curator Sara Knelman will share her insights into Christina Sealey and Richard Oddie - Living Spaces: Imagining Hamilton (admission applies to Non-Members).

After a 40-minute talk, there will be time for questions or the opportunity to enjoy lunch in the Café at AGH.
